The Why the FCC/FDOC Works for Florida Citizens report details how the grower-funded Florida Citrus Commission/Florida Department of Citrus creates demand and protects the equity of Florida citrus products, and benefits the state of Florida.
Agency Sunset Advisory Review
The Sunset Advisory Report has been prepared pursuant to Chapter 11.906 Florida Statutes with input from all Department of Citrus disciplines.
It was submitted to the Florida Legislature and has received the appropriate validation from Executive Director, Ken Keck, and Inspector General, Billy Weathers.
The Report is a comprehensive overview of the Department, divided into four sections: Agency Programs, including the mission, statutory objectives and funding; Agency Performance, Compliance, and Opportunities for Improvement. This document will be utilized by the Legislative Sunset Advisory Committee to report to the State Legislature its specific findings and recommendations regarding each of the criteria prescribed by s. 11.910 and to make recommendations as described in s. 11.911 by March 1, 2008.
