This fresh and fruity salsa is great served on toasted crostini or as a topping on grilled meats such as salmon, spicy sausages, chicken and pork.

Ingredients

1 Florida orange, peeled and diced
1 ½ cups strawberries, hulled and finely chopped
¼ cup sliced green onions
2 tablespoons shredded Asiago cheese
½ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
Balsamic vinegar glaze, optional
Cinnamon sugar pita chips

Preparation

In medium bowl, gently combine all ingredients except glaze.  Just before serving, drizzle with balsamic vinegar glaze, if desired. Serve with cinnamon sugar pita chips.

Makes 2 cups salsa, 4 servings of ½ cup each.
